Talk Show is the searing debut from experimental duo Steph Richards and Qasim Naqvi. Their 2025 album Miss America (We Jazz) blends analog synth, drums, and trumpet into an ambient protest—an indictment of contemporary American spectacle. Premiering at Meany Hall, Seattle, with Chi-wang Yang and Jeff Larson, the performance fuses live + archival video from 80s talk shows, puppetry, processed audio, and raw theatricality. Surreal and sonically daring, Talk Show is a sensory confrontation with spectacle and truth.
